Hydroacoustic fields modeling system

More about the system

Hydroacoustic fields modeling system

The hydroacoustic field modeling system is intended for calculating (modeling) the parameters of the acoustic field based on ray and wave models for the conditions of a two-dimensional inhomogeneous medium, characterized by variability in depth and distance of the vertical distributions of the speed of sound, bottom topography and its geoacoustic characteristics, and also for calculating the angular spectra of anisotropic dynamic sea noises and characteristics of reverberation noise in order to analyze the hydrological and acoustic conditions in different regions of the World Ocean, as well as to assess the capabilities of hydroacoustic devices for various purposes.

  • Providing the operator with averaged statistical data on hydrological parameters of the aquatic environment and soil of the World Ocean, as well as data on the relief of the bottom along a given acoustic energy propagation path.
  • Calculation of the acoustic field according to a given acoustic energy propagation path in a two-dimensional inhomogeneous medium.
  • Calculation of angular spectra of anisotropic dynamic noise of the sea.
  • Input and processing of operational measurements of medium parameters, which are the initial for calculation (simulation) of hydroacoustic field parameters.
  • Calculation of reverberation interference characteristics of active hydroacoustic means.
  • Store source data and simulation results.

Operator’s workstation consisting of:

  • computer unit;
  • monitor;
  • keyboards;
  • manipulator.
  • Geoinformation interface
  • Component for calculation of acoustic interference in operation of hydroacoustic means
  • Seabed Topography Database
  • Hydroacoustic database

Service maintenance is a set of works to monitor the characteristics of the system and in the event of diagnostics of a malfunction or inoperability of system elements, bringing them to the specified in the documentation. Service is performed annually and includes annual preventive work, telephone consultations in case of problems, replacement of failed system elements (purchase of faulty parts is carried out at the Customer’s expense).

Author Supervision — a set of works on supervision of the hydroacoustic field simulation system carried out in order to ensure compliance of the solutions contained in the documentation package with the functions performed by the system

Author supervision includes:

  • schedule for author supervision;
  • technical assignment for author supervision with a list of main works.

Technical supervision — a set of works on supervision of technical facilities of the hydroacoustic field simulation system, carried out in order to ensure compliance of solutions contained in the documentation package and functions performed by the system.

Technical supervision includes:

  • a schedule for technical oversight
  • technical assignment for technical supervision with the list of main works
  • The system receives real-time data from global and regional oceanological monitoring systems
  • Transmission of simulation results via automated interaction channels in formats agreed with consumers.
